Limio processes information only where reasonably necessary to provide its features, maintain the Service, protect users, and support secure operation of the App.

To maintain the stability and security of the App, Limio may process limited technical information about your device, including:

3. SMS Permission and SMS Bookkeeping

3.1 Why Limio Requests SMS Access

Limio provides two ways to create bookkeeping records:

• Manual bookkeeping: You can manually enter your income and expense records without granting SMS permission.
• SMS-assisted bookkeeping: If you choose to enable this feature and grant SMS permission, Limio can identify eligible financial transaction messages on your device and use relevant transaction details to create bookkeeping records.

SMS access is requested only to support Limio's SMS scanning and bookkeeping functionality.

3.2 Types of Messages Relevant to Bookkeeping

Limio is designed to identify financial transaction messages that may contain information useful for personal bookkeeping, including:

• Bank transaction alerts
• Payment or purchase notifications
• Transfer notifications
• Receipt or incoming payment confirmations
• Income or expense notifications from banks, e-wallets, or other financial service providers

Personal conversations, social messages, verification codes, and other non-financial messages are not used for Limio's bookkeeping functionality.

3.3 How SMS Information Is Used

When SMS-assisted bookkeeping is enabled, Limio may recognize limited transaction details necessary to generate a bookkeeping record, such as:

• Transaction amount
• Transaction date or time
• Income or expense type
• Other limited transaction details necessary to create the relevant record

SMS-derived information is used only to help you organize and review your personal income and expense records.

It is not used for:

• Advertising
• Marketing
• Credit assessment
• Loan approval
• Unrelated profiling or behavioral analysis

3.4 Local SMS Processing

SMS recognition and analysis are performed locally on your device.

• Full SMS message content is not uploaded to Limio's servers.
• Full SMS message content is not stored on our servers.
• Limio generates only the information needed to create the relevant bookkeeping record.
• Messages unrelated to financial bookkeeping are not used for other purposes.

4. Camera Permission

Limio may request access to your device's camera so that you can take and upload a profile picture.

The camera is accessed only when you actively use the relevant feature. Limio does not continuously access or operate the camera in the background.

5. Approximate Location Information

Limio may request access to your approximate location for purposes such as:

• Determining whether certain services are available in your region;
• Supporting compliance with applicable regional requirements.

Limio does not use this permission to collect precise location information and does not continuously track your location.

Approximate location information is accessed only where necessary for the relevant functionality.

6. How We Use Information

Information processed through Limio may be used to:

• Provide and maintain the App's features;
• Support manual and SMS-assisted bookkeeping;
• Generate and display personal income, expense, and bookkeeping summaries;
• Maintain account and application security;
• Detect or prevent misuse and security risks;
• Improve the stability and user experience of the Service;
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations in the Philippines.

We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to the functionality described in this Privacy Policy.

7. Data Storage and Security

Where information needs to be transmitted to or stored on our servers, Limio uses reasonable security measures designed to protect that information during transmission and storage.

10. Data Retention

Limio retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Where applicable Philippine laws require certain information to be retained for a longer period, that information may be retained for the legally required period and deleted or otherwise appropriately handled afterward.

Limio is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
